Only 20 mins. by train from Central London and an easy train ride to Stansted Airport, our six, lakeside log cabins are nestled in the 10,000 acre Lee Valley Country Park. There are plenty of activities on offer nearby - cycling, walking, nature watching, sailing, kayaking, caving, climbing and canoeing to name but a few. Try us for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the City! NEW for 2005: Mountain bike hire available from the hostel only E1.50 per hour.
Tasty meals available every day including full breakfast (included in price), picnic lunch and evening meals plus tea shop/cafe in summer.
YHA Lee Valley is part of the Youth Hostels Association and membership of this organisation or the International Youth Hostel Federation is required. Prices shown are for members. Non-members can pay a supplement fee of E3.00 per adult and E1.50 per under 18. All membership types can be purchased on arrival.
YHA policy states that customers under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay in shared dormitories, and those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is aged 18 years or older. Anyone between the age of 16 and 18, if unaccompanied, must book a private room or share with individuals of the same sex and age group. YHA strongly recommends that customers wishing to bring children under the age of 18 reserve a private room and do not stay in shared dormitories.
