About The Saracens Head Hotel
In the Centre of the Flitch town of Great Dunmow standing opposite the Old Market Place, this historic 16th century Coaching Inn has been welcoming visitors for nearly 400 years.
The property was built in 1560 and over the years the fabric of the hotel has been enriched and today boasts an 18th Century facade and elegant Georgian and Tudor-Style architecture.
With our Flitch bar and Cromwell's restaurant serving up delicious traditional local food and ales in a suitably old world atmosphere makes the Saracens Head popular with locals and international guests alike.
