About Les Pradelles

Our English owned and run Chambre d hote (B&B) is a typical Correzian Style house in a small typical French village of Lapleau. Approx 1 hours drive SOUTH of Limoges.And approx 98 kms from Limoges airport.
And if you have to leave extra early, a breakfast will be ava for you to have or take with you.

In the evenings you can relax on the first floor seating area or in the conservatory, or weather permiting out side at the dinning table or relax in a lounger watching the sun go down, Or take an evening walk to the local bar or down by the lake & if you feel like a swim we provide towels or just wander around the many country lanes around us; or just chill out looking at all our tourist information etc; with a nice drink hot or cold before bed;

All rooms are ensuite with shower wc & washbasin.
Breakfast is taken in the Conservatory or in the Garden. Evening meals by arrangement are taken with the hosts and other guests.
We can also do a packed lunch for you to take with you

We are situated in the village of Lapleau, which has a few shops and cafe/bar. The village is close to the Gorges of the Dordogne & the foothills of the Massif Central, inside the department known as 'Correze in the region of Limousin'.
Close by are the Monedieres and the Plateau De Millevaches, which offer a wide choice of activities in this beautiful unspoiled region. Be it hiking, walking, or cycling, we can offer the cyclist routes and safe lockable storage for bikes and the same for canoeists.
Horse riding is available at Egletons and Neuvic.
For artists and photographers there are breath-taking views of the wooded plateaus & the gorge, chateaux's with old buildings and churches (almost medieval) in the many villages and towns dotted around.
A region steeped in fine produce, restaurants all serving good regional cooking, Limousin famed for its beef, apples, cepes and mushrooms, chestnuts and the famous clafoutis and myrtle's to name a few.
So after a busy day sight-seeing or house-hunting relax in the Conservatory or just unwind in our seating area in the garden taking in the views, or planning your next move, or maybe a swim in the lake near by.
There are good transport links by rail from Paris to Limoges or Brive & change for Egletons or Meymac & air links to Limoges International airport which is approximately 1 hr 45 away.
Car hire is available at the airport. We are well serviced with roads and auto routes A20 Paris -Toulouse; A89 Bordeaux - Clemont Ferrand/Lyon.

Is a small Gite just across the road from Les Pradelles
On the ground floor has a large light airy bedroom with tiled floor & rugs with double bed, drawer & hanging space, heating
En-Suite shower with WC & washbasin, small hall with stairs to first floor lounge with seating and access to enclosed garden; This and all rooms are non smoking,
smoking allowed in the garden;
Breakfast is taken across the road at Les Pradelles & evening meals if booked.
