About Appletons Guest House

Appletons is an 18th Century farmhouse lovingly restored to a high standard by Malcolm and Edward, retaining many of its original features, whether you are house hunting or need a short break we can accommodate you, collection from the airport is available.
Our house is set in two acres of land, for the true rural experience stroll around our fruit and vegetable garden which provides fresh produce for ourselves and guests throughout the year, for relaxing and alfresco dining in our newly planted garden with above ground swimming pool. We have a friendly dog and cat and you are welcome to bring your own dog.
Indre (Department 36) is the unspoilt heart of France. We are an hour's drive from Limoges, and an hour and a half from Poitiers, 30 kilometres away from the capital of the region, Chateauroux, and 8 kilometres from the historical medieval town Argenton sur Creuse.
A wonderful region for all interests from canoeing along the river, visit the nearby lake at Eguzon for water sports and beaches, spend the day at one of the many riding schools and not forgetting the endless miles of mapped walks.
