About Hotel Transit Loft

Hotel Transit Loft is a modern hotel in an old factory. The yellow-brick, late 19th century building was completely modernised in 2001. The hotel has five floors and offers a variety of leisure activities.

Our 47 rooms (1-6 beds) are bright, friendly and functionally furnished. The high-ceilinged rooms are all en-suite equipped with a shower and toilet. The room-price naturally includes our extensive buffet-breakfast which is available until noon.

Our dormitory rooms are bright, airy, well lit and all are equipped with a private shower. Our single bedded dorms are spacious and comfortable (no bunk beds). They are perfect for meeting people from all over the world and provide the most economical alternative for an overnight stay in Berlin.

The reception and hotel bar are, of course, open 24 hours. In the same building you'll find a cinema often showing movies in their original language, a gym with sauna and aerobics and last but not least, our famous billard-saloon with billard, snooker, carambolage and darts.

The area surrounding the hotel has seen many changes over the last few years. Around Kollwitzplatz one finds restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. From the Kulturbrauerei with its cinemas, clubs and cabaret, to the Prater, enjoyed by young and old for over a century and the Berlin Wall memorial Mauerpark, Prenzlauer Berg presents itself as one of Berlin's most exciting districts.
