JUST 80 m from the MAIN TRAIN STATION (in a quiet side street) and a couple of minutes walk from most of Munich's most famous attractions (HOFBRAUHAUS, MARIENPLATZ etc.)

The Euro Youth Hotel offers a great BAR, SERVING MUNICH'S BEST BEER and dangerously cheap cocktails and Jagerbombs.

The hostel is housed in an historic building, one of only 3% of the buildings in the vicinity of the main train station to have survived WWII fully intact ! Built in the late 19th Century it was originally one of Munichs very first luxury hotels (the Astoria).

Happy Hour daily from 6pm to 9 pm (0,5 ltr BEER 2 EURO !) + all major sporting events (incl US sports, champions league and English Premier League) on a large screen.

The hostel also provides cheap laundry facilities and internet access + board games and book exchange.

You may prefer to have the privacy of a single or double room, or make friends in one of the small or large dorms.

Every room is equipped with its own wash-basin. THE BRAND NEW SHOWERS and TOILETS are either to be found inside the rooms or close by in the corridor.

The fill-your-boots ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT continental breakfast buffet is available in the hostel from 7am-11am for a bargain EUR 3,90.
Please note that the breakfast is NOT included in the price of your booking.

Please also note : we do NOT have a guest KITCHEN.
We would like to but local Health and Safety laws make it impossible. We do however have supermarkets and cheap restaurants all around us which we'll be happy to point you in the direction of.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE !!!

if you enter your arrival time as later than 4 pm we will charge the first night to your credit card in advance of your arrival.

If your arrival time was entered as before 4 pm but you have not yet arrived by the time specified we will charge your credit card immediately.

We cannot wait until later in the evening to charge for 'no-shows' as we are too often supplied with credit card details which do not work / have expired.

Please make sure that you book with a credit card that will be valid and functional on the date of arrival. If we attempt to charge the card (for one of the above reasons) and it doesn't work, we will cancel the reservation.

To cancel please go through Hostelworld.com or send us a mail at least 24 hrs in advance of your (non)'arrival' to avoid being charged for the 1st night.

ps : CHECK IN is after 2pm. If you arrive earlier you can of course leave your luggage here and use the facilities (or go on a free walking or bike tour). BUT the room is not ready until 2pm.
