Before booking, please note carefully:

1. All reservations are cash rate and MUST BE FULLY PREPAID by paypal cash or credit card (plus 10%)within 24 hours of reservation via the booking site, or immediately in the case of the booking being within 24 hours of arrival.

2. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILTER/FOLDER to make sure that email from TeguAirportBnB at Gmail.com is not being blocked. All communication is primarily in English (but you can write in Spanish if you prefer) and you should expect email and a credit card invoice to pay - from us quickly after you book. We will also need pre-check in data from you that you will need to respond to quickly.

3. You will be obligated to pay for the first night of your intended stay whether or not you go through with making the prepayment. This covers any of our wasted personalized communication time or preparations.

4. We can NOT guarantee to honor any last minute reservation because it usually does not give us time to get all the pre-check-in information and prepayment.

Twin Private Ensuite* = Small Private Bunks Room with bathroom for one or two.

Double Bed Private Ensuite* = Private 'CaribeSol Room' with Queen Bed & SingleTwin Loft Bed and nice private adjacent bathroom. (A third person in the CaribeSol, is $25 additional). ** We also have the next-door 'Rainforest' full, double-bed guest room that can always be held for your small group at $49 for the room for one or two extra guests, if you online book the CaribeSol (Double Bed Private Ensuite*) first.

Well, our wonderful guests have already kindly said it: Yes, we are a friendly family environment - Tegu Airport B&B Homestay - a really warm, elegant, small and exclusive private residence - not a traveller's party hang out nor hotel or commercial business, but a unique and peaceful 'home away from home' in the busy capital city of Honduras. We have the best guests from around the world who are warmly welcomed here, where comfort and safety is foremost. Our home is beautifully decorated and clean. A convenient, safe and personal home away from home.

We're an excellent arrivals & departures base exclusively for family, individuals and small groups of volunteers or leaders, missionaries, and students on projects, assignment and internships; as well as for visiting families, and trusted returning guests and friends. You will not be treated here as a client but rather as a personal friend, and therefore please note that you must meet certain guest conditions for security purposes as outlined before you can confirm any reservation.

We first came to Honduras as volunteers with a heart to help and are still working voluntarily with youth, and we know first hand how rough the conditions can be in this developing country and how refreshing it is to find such a safe, clean and convenient oasis like the B&B Homestay - on arrival to or departure from Honduras or just when you need to stay safe in the sprawling capital city of Tegucigalpa. You come to help, serve and learn, but you also need safety, good rest and hot showers and other modern comforts!

Due to heightened security concerns in Honduras and for the upgraded personal safety for our guests, ourselves and our secure community, we only accept reservations on the basis that guests give us a reference contact (organization or person) and the reason for being in Honduras. We also need guest's or guests' full official names, home address/es, telephone/s, date/s of birth, citizenship/s, and passport number/s, etc, in order to accept and confirm guests' reservations. You will receive receive a personal email from us and a list of pre-check-in type questions to answer - soon after you reserve.

We are located close to the airport (but without the noise), and it's just an economical taxi ride to anywhere in the entire city. For longer stay guests, we can usually arrange a private taxi for as little as $5 a day day (dropped off in the morning and picked up in the evening) to and from the embassy zone, Colonia Palmira, Blvd Morazan, the historical city center, or the new commercial center. We have guests staying for a month or more who use this extremely economical service and also prefer the safety, comfort and great value of staying with us. We are also just walking distance from a huge variety of restaurants and cafes, fast food, multiplex movie theater, ATM's and banks.

You will be INCREDIBLY safe here; there is no other place that is so nice, so secure and so close to the airport (but without all the noise and problems). We don't just offer you great quality and spotlessly clean rooms, extremely comfortable beds, genuine hot showers, personal 90-channel TVs, mini-fridges, and friendly personal service, but delicious healthy breakfasts, bottled-water, flat-screen high-speed internet, microwave, private courtyard and wonderful hammocks, too, ALL INCLUDED. And we also have discounted deals for certain days, as well as for week and month long stays, and guests occupying more than one room, when you contact us first. We also offer safe hassle-free personalized airport welcomes at the same cost as the airport taxis, phone calls and Wi-Fi wireless internet, too. Other personalized services that our special guests might need can usually be arranged such as laundry and dry cleaning. We're known for personal attention and safety and are here to help you.

With limited rooms and bathrooms, we highly recommend reserving in advance to secure your space and supply the necessary reference information and data by email/telephone (we can call you back at a suitable time), help us with a description of each guest (or just send a picture), and please confirm with your prepayment as invoiced. When your reservation is confirmed, we immediately email you with all the details and options for getting to our place. We highly recommend our personal airport or bus station welcome. If you book online here (and not directly with us), then please note that the booking is for a private room and is the final price for all sleeping space in that particular private room whether you are traveling with others or alone. Sorry, we can't find roomates for you. The prices are cash and include breakfast, bottled water, internet etc (compare this with other commercial places that charge for breakfast and water, and charge you 16% tax on top of your room rate!) This IS value for money!

3 Bed Private Ensuite

3 Bed Private Ensuite = Nice CaribeSol Room with queen bed and single twinbed loft for one, two or three guests (but TWO BEDS MAX), and includes a lovely PRIVATE adjacent bathroom.
3 Bed Private Shared Bathroom = Nice CaribeSol Room with queen bed and single twinbed loft for one, two or three guests (but TWO BEDS MAX), as well as a lovely adjacent large shared (sometimes with one other room maximum) bathroom and a half bathroom downstairs.

And discounts offered for longer stays. Just ask.

Important Booking Details and Conditions:

We have the right to reject any reservation made that does not comply with our stated security requirements. If management do not accept your reservation due to security concerns, there is no penalty.

For all accepted reservations (no matter how far in advance nor when guest notifies the home stay of a change of plans), the standard minimum cancellation fee guests agree to pay is equivalent to the guest's/guests' first night's room cost & airport welcome minimum (if requested in follow up emails). This minimum cancellation fee is a courtesy and recognition of our time and effort in accepting your reservation.

In order to give priority to our wonderful guests, we plan our family life, and other work schedules as well as our staff scheduling up to two months in advance; therefore, cancellations are NOT allowed within 60 days of a guest's reserved stay, and all guests (including no-shows) are contractually obligated to pay and will be billed the COMPLETE agreed reservation/rate package of all services requested (by guest) which have been mutually agreed on in advance in writing via email. We go the extra mile, and we give you our word when we prepare for your stay, therefore we expect you to also live by your word and honor your word. We always go the extra mile for our guests. Please honor us by covering our time and costs. Thanks!

To this end, we immediately require prepayment of the first night, and airport transfer (if requested), or 50% prepayment of the total reservation, which ever is greater (paid by bank deposit or transfer, Pay Pal, or credit card invoice) - in order to guarantee your stay. (A partial refund according to conditions above could apply if reservation is later canceled). If your planned stay is within 60 days, then please completely PREPAY, unless an exemption is agreed to.

In the case of adverse weather or extreme circumstances that the arriving guest faces, management is willing to reschedule the stay at minimal or no cost according to Tegu Airport B&B Homestay's discretion.

All prices quoted are discounted for cash only, but we usually accept all credit cards with an international handling/processing fee of 6% (or 10% for smaller charges under $100).

Please remember that we are a non-smoking family environment and will not tolerate alcohol abuse or any consumption of drugs. No alcohol or drugs, or strangers, may be brought onto the premises, and any violation of this rule is grounds for immediate eviction from the B&B with no refund.

Guest rights: If a prepaid, confirmed guest with guaranteed reservation dates, (who has and is fulfilling all stated conditions as appear on this page) is not given a room due to some emergency, (if the fault is that of Tegu Airport B&B Homestay's), then a complete refund (by PayPal or Credit Card) in the favor of the guest will be made.
