Despite its historical appearance, Gold Hotel Buda was actually built in 1997, boasting modern conveniences and a stylish decor. Our helpful and attentive multilingual staff help you make travel and sightseeing arrangements within and outside of Budapest. Guest services include Internet connectivity and parking, restaurant and meeting facilities.
The hotel has a nice garden, a pleasant spot to sit back and relax in the shade of giant nut trees.

Gold Hotel Buda is located on Hegyalja Road in Budapest's District 1, on the northern side of Gellert Hill. Vaci Street (Budapest's popular downtown shopping street), the Citadel and Statue of Liberty atop Gellert Hill, the Buda Castle and the Budapest Congress Centre are all within easy reach - a 10-minute bus ride or a 30-minute walk. Within a short distance of the hotel you can admire the most lovely view of Budapest or visit one of the city's famous thermal baths for refreshment and recreation. The hotel is easily accessible by car from the M1 and M7 motorways. Several buses stop near the hotel, a convenient means of transport to reach any point within the city with ease.

Cozy yet elegant, the hotel's Carat Restaurant offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Our air-conditioned restaurant is decorated in warm tones, with cherry wood furnishings and Hungarian works of art. In nice weather the tea garden is also open to our guests. You can choose from a variety of international and Hungarian dishes and appetizing desserts.

The hotel has 2 small meeting rooms, which can be opened into one large space to accommodate any event for up to 30 persons. The restaurant, where we can seat 60 persons at a time, is also an ideal venue for various events.

Free cancellation: at least 48 hours (2 days) before the arrival date.
Cancellation fee: room rate for 1 night/room.

New Year's Eve holiday (29 Dec - 1 Jan) both 2008 and 2009:
Free cancellation: at least 7 days before the arrival date.
Cancellation fee: 100% of the total value of the reservation.

Formula 1 and group bookings (5 or more rooms):
1-3 Augus 2008, 31 July - 2 August 2009 and 7-9 August 2009 (will be confirmed in October) Free cancellation: at least 30 days before the arrival date.
Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total value of the reservation.
Cancellations made 14 days or less before the arrival date, or no-show:
100%
of the total value of the reservation.
