About Karat Guesthouse

In the 11th district of Budapest on the Buda side, in the greenbelt surrounded by gardens, the privately owned Karat Guesthouse is to be found. The building was erected in the 1930's in the last century, and remodeled in 2003. A familial and elegantly solid house is well designed for relaxation.

Although it's in the greenbelt, you can easily and quickly reach it.

About the surroundings;
With a 15-minute walk or 10 to 15 minutes by public transport, the Gellert Hill , the Taban, Buda castle and other national monuments and places of interest to tourists can be reached. But you need not travel to the Gellert, Rudas and Racz thermal baths. At the end of the street you can find a park, the Bottomless Lake with a playground in the area and a restaurant overlooking the lake. Tennis courts, dog walks and St. Imre's Church are also found here. Shopping doesn't pose a problem because numerous stores can be found and, after all, there is the Buda Skala shopping centre and the Lagymanyosi supermarket just two steps away from the Karat Hotel.
