About Ben Lettery Youth Hostel (Hostelling International

This country hostel is in a wonderful area in the heart of Connemara! Ideal for hill walking and cycling.

Nearby are the villages Clifden (13km)and Recess (8km/ shop, pub and petrol station only). But also the pretty village of Roundstone (14km)situated on the Atlantic ocean. Please note this hostel is NOT in Galway City!

Inisboffin, the island of legend and folklore, can be visited from nearby Cleggan.

Also a good base to visit the Aran Islands (45 min. from Rossaveal where the ferry operates)

The Hostel is closed during the day (10.00am-17.00pm) Check in time is from 17:00 until 22.00 and check out time is 10.00am.

You'll find a big self catering kitchen, a spacious dining room and a homely common room with turf fire and beautiful views. We have a range of private and dorm rooms available.

Discounts for under 18 yr olds, Hostelling International members or valid international student cards.
