Macgabhainns Backpackers Hostel, with the best showers in town. Is located in the heart of the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the railway and bus station. Breakfast includes porridge,corn flakes,toast, tea or coffee,with as much tea/coffee free all day long. Macgabhainns is a small hostel with a cool barbeque area in the garden.
We are also located near pubs with traditional Irish music and some fine restaurants that are quite inexpensive. We are just a short stroll from Kilkenny Castle. Our reception is open until 10pm for check-ins.
