About Hostel San Sisto - Due Torri

The Youth Hostel San Sisto-Due Torri in Bologna is part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Italy. The hostel offers guests an enviable and strategic base for getting to know the beautiful Bologna and see its many attractions.

Bologna is also an excellent base for visiting Ferrara (45 km), Modena (40 km), Parma (95 km), Ravenna (75 km), Reggio Emilia (65 km), Rimini (112 km).

Our rooms have 2 to 6 single beds, no bunks. We have one room ensuite which is for disabled access, that we suggest you book in advance.
There are lockers in every room but you have to bring your own padlock.
Sheets and blankets are provided. You can rent towels at the cost of E1 each.
Toilets and showers are in the corridor and hot water is always available.
Check-out: 10:00 (rooms are closed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for cleaning) - Check-in: after 14:00

Common areas include: a TV room which also has tables, a reading room with couches, a breakfast room open from 7:30 to 9:30 and a big garden with basketball playground and many benches.

We offer our guests: internet point, WiFi, pizza delivery service, movie tapes you can watch for free, various games such as Jenga, Chess, cards, book-swapping, machines with hot and cold drinks, rental bikes, postal service. Bus tickets, national and international phone cards are sold.

We have no kitchen facilities.

POSSIBILITY OF CHAUFFEUR SERVICE 7 DAYS/24 HOURS in 4 passengers cars (for all other destinations call for prices, free reservation, free baggage transport):
- From Bologna Railway Station and Piazza Re Enzo (close to Piazza Maggiore) to San Sisto Hostel or v.v. Special prices for San Sisto guests only: 16 euros from 06:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. (from Monday to saturday excluding bank holidays), 19 euros from 10:00 P.M. to 06:00 A.M. (from Monday to Saturday/Sundays and bank holidays all day/night).
- From the airport to San Sisto hostel or v.v.: 20 euros from 06:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. (from Monday to saturday excluding bank holidays), 24 euros from 10:00 P.M. to 06:00 A.M. (from Monday to Saturday/Sundays and bank holidays all day/night).

Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of E 3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays. For young people with less than 18 years it requires the written permission of parents.
