About Firenze-Castelfiorentino

Castelfiorentino is a nice little village immersed in the Tuscany's country side, about 38 km far from Florence city centre.

Here you can visit the old part of the village with its 2 ancient main churches, Santa Verdiana and San Francesco.
By train ( station is only 600 meters far from the hostel ) you can easily reach in about 50 minutes the most important cities in Tuscany as Florence ( 38 km ), Siena ( 40 km ) and Pisa ( 50 km ); trains to these cities run very frequently. If you come by car you will also be able to reach the most beautiful medioeval villages as San Gimignano ( 25 km ), Volterra ( 30 km ) and Monteriggioni ( 35 km ).

Staying at Castelfiorentino Youth Hostel is good for people that want to escape the city and have a relaxing holiday in the quietness of the country side.

The hostel was built in year 2000 and has 18 rooms, all provided with lockers.
At only 300 meters far from the hostel is an indoor swimming-pool; an outdoor one is at 7 km far, reachable by train.
We also rent bicycles for free.

Opening hours: 07:30 - 10:00 a.m. / 04:00 - 12:00 p.m.
Please notice that the hostel remains closed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and during this time guests cannot stay inside.
