About Torre Mannella

Torre Mannella is an 'agriturismo' situated in the heart of Abruzzo region, just outside the old town of Citta Sant' Angelo that is 15 Km far away from Pescara city. The B&B was built on a side of a small hill and boasts panoramic views of the vineyards and olive groves reaching down towards the Adriatic Sea on one side and the mountain ranges on the other.Torre Mannella is an ideal place for guests that wish to visit the sights of Abruzzo. It's just 8km far from the A14 motorway (Pescara Nord Exit) the beaches of the Adriatic, the National Parks of the Gran Sasso (Great Rock) and the Maiella Mountains are easy reachable with car. Nearby towns of Atri, Penne, Loreto Aprutino and Castelli are all full of character and history, and in addition, although a little further away, there is the beautiful and historical city, L'Aquila.

Torre Mannella is an agricultural business with the main body of the land consisting of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d' Abruzzo vineyards, the remainder offers olive groves, a small vegetable garden and many fruit bearing plants and trees. Guests will also find a small farm with deer, pigs, peacocks, geese and chickens. The Swimming Pool is reserved for only the guests of Torre Mannella. The S.P. is surrounded by olive trees and the place offers peace and tranquillity under the look of the nearby deer, peacocks, geese and chickens, Rocco (our small horse) and Rosina (the rescued mule).

A large barbecue and traditional outside wood oven are available to use for social evening meals. Whilst staying at Torre Mannella guests are invited to sample the wine of the vineyards, DOC Montepulciano and Trebbiano d' Abruzzo, extra virgin olive oil and the fruit and vegetables grown from the land. There is a large courtyard area for parking.Dogs and pets are accepted.
