About Ryokan Nishiyama

Ryokan Nishiyama is a comfortable, quiet Japanese style hotel, while located in the center of Kyoto town and near Shijo Kawara-machi Street and Shinkyogoku Shopping area which are very popular among foreign tourists.

Guests can enjoy a small waterfall the garden inside where you can relax with the sound of its water running through. There is a few staff who can speak English at the front desk, so please feel free to ask anything - places to see and eat! Most rooms are en-suite Japanese-style and they are clean and comfortable.

Facilities include public baths for men and women, common room, a Japanese garden and a dining room. Public bath is open from 4:30PM to midnight and from 7AM to 8:30AM. In the lobby, there are laptop computers connected to rapid broadband internet which you can use free of charge! Curfew is midnight and we have lock-out.

There will be a bath towel, a face towel with a toothbrush and paste, a soap, Yukata (Japanese light robe) in the room for each person. A hair drier can be borrowed at the front desk. Meals are Japanese traditional KAISEKI cuisine for dinner and a healthy Japanese breakfast.
