About Ryokan Meiryu

We are a comforatable, affordable, friendly Japanese style inn in Nagoya. We are conveniently located in the center of Nagoya city. Only 4 stops from JR Nagoya Station. The closest station has 2 subway lines.

All rooms are Japanese-style without bath/toilet. (means shared bathroom) But communal baths are very clean and open for 24hours.

There are two bathroom in hostel; one is for gentlemen and another is for ladies. Both bathrooms are open for 24 hours.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is until 10am.
Curfew is 10pm. No Lock-out.(which means the front door is open for 24 hours. Please note the front desk is NOT open for 24 hours!!)

Japanese breakfast is provided. Order in advance (after confirming your bookings.) or tell us when you check-in. 630yen per person.
Breakfast: 7-9AM / Dinner: 6:30-9PM
Parking fee: 630yen per car per night

==From JR Nagoya Station==
Closest station is subway Kamimaezu Sta. 4 stops from Nagoya Sta. Change at Sakae Sta or Fushimi Sta. From Kamimaezu Sta, use exit #3 and walk toward South. Take left at the first corner. Passing one small crossroad, we are on the left hand side of the street.

Our map in Hostelworld is according to the googlemap. Unfortunately this might be a bit confusing - as it is not signposted in English (Also in Japan, small streets has no names). For English map, please contact us.

==From CENTRAIR Airport (Chubu Int'l Airport)==
Take a MEITETSU express train running to Nagoya Sta.. Then Get off the train at KANAYAMA station to change for subway MEIJO line(purple). MEIJO line is a circle line, so take the one that goes clockwise to OZONE. KAMIMAEZU station is just two stops away.
The MEITETSU trains is running between the airport and Nagoya station quite frequently up to 23:30 at night.
The whole journey should take less than 1 hour but it might take more time in the evening.
