About Dar Mauresque

The location of the house is in the heart of the Medina (old city)close to the souks and only about 8-10 minutes walk from the famous and vibrating Djemaa El Fna square. The house, partly modernized and redecorated, consists of one main double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one other double bedroom and one single bedroom on the ground floor and one double bedroom on the first floor, all with shared facilities. Most rooms are simply decorated with local furnishings and carpets. As with all Moroccan traditional houses, the open, tiled courtyard - containing potted plants - is in the middle and the rooms on the sides.A medium sized tiled and well equipped kitchen has a washing machine should you need to have anything washed during your stay.

For those wishing to do a little sunbathing, there is a large terrace with a pergola, also an ideal place to take afternoon tea or coffee. From there one can see the nearby 'Moulay Idriss Palace' and, on a clear day, view the Atlas mountains.

Dar Mauresque will give you tranquillity and privacy, at the same time you can be independent.
