Its 21 years since we opened the Old Schoolhouse Inn and many a memorable and enjoyable meal has been had in our award winning restaurant since then. Some 5 years ago we opened our hostelry to guests from near and far, greeting them and inviting them to stay in our excellent accommodation. A friendly face, a good meal and a comfortable bed for the night, just the ingredients required for the businessman and weary traveller alike to enjoy their stay with us.

Situated at Castle Espie, beside the beautiful scenery of Strangford Lough the Old Schoolhouse Inn is a superb place to stay, relax and enjoy your stay in Northern Ireland.

The Old Schoolhouse Inn has 12 deluxe en suite bedrooms each named after an American President of Ulster descent.

The restaurant is located in the Old Schoolhouse building
which is full of character and ambience. It is widely regarded as one of Northern Ireland's greatest restaurants.
