About Bothy Hostel

Bothy Hostel is a perfect place for any backpackers, located on a safe street just 5 minutes from the spectacular Plaza de Armas and only 2 minutes from Arequipa's bustling nightlife.
NOTE: Great place to base yourself in Arequipa. The building is old but it�s perfectly clean and tidy. It�s a sociable place and you get to know everyone in the hostel especially in the evenings in the bar....make sure you play Giant Jenga. They make it into a drinking game here. Very close to the Plaza and San Francisco (the street to go out on) and helful, friendly staff who just want to have fun with you.

We have a common roof top terrace with hammocks, chairs and a table which is a great place for you to socialize and meet people and of course see spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes and little villages! There is also a common DVD room where a wide selection of movies is offered. Or you can chill out on the courtyard or in the bar where you can order drinks. Breakfast is served in the bar area from 7:30 until 10:30 every day. Free internet service is included and we also have wifi. We will do all your laundry for just a small fee. You can store your personal things and valuables in lockers placed close to our reception. We also have a book exchange.

We offer simple but comfortable accomodation and of course we pay extreme atention to cleaniness of all rooms and bathrooms at all times. Bathrooms are shared for all our guests and there is always hot water from solar heating system and electric as well in case there is no sun. Our reasonable prices allow you to access all the services in the hostel!

Despite doing our best to keep Bothy Hostel clean at all times we would like to ask our guests to respect the premises as well since we have faced some property intolerance in the past.

We are an offical booker for Land Adventures which offers Colca Canyon trek tours, downhill biking or climbing to Chachani or Misti. they also offer combo tours and offer tailored tours as well.
