About Nomade Backpackers Hostel

Hi Nomads,
The Nomade Backpackers Hostel is located in the district of Miraflores in a big mid fifties traditional house. The zone is really secure, safety and beautiful, it is the best zone of miraflores, near the beach and with all the transport facilities.
It´s just in front of a park and, downtown Miraflores and the Pacific Ocean are only a few blocks away. You can get to both walking or by bike. We rent single and tandem bikes with which you can take the Nomade´s local city tour, that includes a visit to Huaca Pucllana, Huaca Huallamarca and a picnic in front of paragliders flying over the sea (we can arrange paragliding flights, too).

We have shared rooms and individual ones with a queen size bed, a fridge, private internet, TV and DVD player. All guests in Nomade have free access to Internet, a lounge area with TV and a DVD player with a great collection of the best movies (Cassavettes, Wenders, Kusturica, Kubrick, Woody Allen and all the great ones), no curfew, a 24 hour reception in English and Spanish, security deposit box, self catering facilites in our kitchen and lockers inside the dorms.

Sleeping at Nomade Backpackers Hostel also includes a breakfast prepared by the great Ethel, a charming woman who appears to have been born smiling. Her breakfast includes a fresh orange juice, a cup of coffee, milk or tea, and bread with butter and marmalade. You can also ask for tamales, fried bannanas or eggs, for an extra fee. We help arrange surf trips (for amateurs and profesionals) with our buddy Omar, who is studying to be a cheff; also photo trips, and city tours with the tour agency you choose. We are planning on creating our own city tour agency but that will take us some time.

WHY DO WE RECOMMEND THE PICK UP SERVICE? THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL INSTANCES WHERE TAXI DRIVERS AT THE AIRPORT HAVE CHARGED TOURISTS MUCH MORE THAN THE NORMAL PRICE AND/OR THEY HAVE BROUGHT TOURISTS TO GUEST HOUSES / HOSTELS WITH WHICH THEY ARE CO-OPERATING.
