'The House of Ervedal rises on top of the farm with the same name; by terrasses of big fields it(he farm) goes down into the bank of the Teixeira river, not far from the spot where it meets the Douro.
It's a gentle house, with an elegant and beautiful stone gate, accessing to the yard.'
In the past, the House of Ervedal was a shelter to the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela, as testified by the "vieras", the shells of pilgrims, engraved in the stones of the entrance, of the fountain and of the chapel.
It is equipped with eight double sleeping rooms, dinning room, living and leisure rooms, chapel, meeting room with multimedia equipments and a room for special events or family gatherings. Each room is provided with central heating.
In the National 108, the farm is 80 Km far from Porto and 12 Km far from Regua, and it's nearby the Ermida station of the Douro's railway and the river's harbour.
