About The Midland Youth Hostel 1

The Midland 1 is the only hostel in the old center, and it's on the 3rd floor of a historical building with an amazing view to the park.

The Midland Youth Hostel is very easy and fast to reach, and within 10 minutes walking distance from our place, you can find a supermarket , bistros and restaurants, bars and clubs ( we are located in the bar/club zone of Bucharest), money exchange houses, travel agencies, train tickets agencies, banks, to say nothing of one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in Bucharest , the Cismigiu Park, which is only 1 minute away from our hostel. Staying here , you will be maximum 5 minutes away from the main points of interest of the capital: the famous House of People ( now called The Palace of the Parliament), Vlad Tepes' old palace, the National Theatre, the Opera house, the University, etc.

The Midland 1 sleeps 26 in 4 rooms.

A 10 bed room, an 8 bed room, a 6 bed room and a double room.

Things to keep in mind:
We have had some comments from guests regarding the following issues, so we are just trying to make them clear for everyone

-Smoking is IS ALLOWED in the kitchen/common area.
-There is air conditioning in all rooms but it is not ON all the time , if you need it , you just have to ask the staff to turn it on.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!

REMEMBER: 1 EURO=4.3 LEI/RON/NEW LEI ( THEY ARE ALL THE SAME THING)
