About Edinburgh Thistle Hotel

Established in 1924, the 3 Star Edinburgh Thistle Hotel is located in the prestigious, quiet and residential West End area of the city centre. Close by is Edinburgh Castle, St. Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) and of course the renowned Princes Street with its vast array of stylish shops and stores.

Having been a Georgian Town House and retaining most of its original period features, our hotel comprises 11 comfortable, elegant and spacious en-suite rooms. Each room features Digital TV, radio alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, towels, telephone, hairdryer, fridge, trouser press and iron + ironing board. There is a 3 day Cancellation Policy in low season (Jan - April / Oct - Dec) and 5 days in high season (May - Sept).
