About Marula Place
Marula Place is a 3-star graded estabishment situated in Riverview Village, about 4 km from Mtubatuba between the Mfolozi / Hluhluwe Game Reserve (the oldest in South Africa) and the World Heritage site of St Lucia Wetlands Park.
We have a Guest Lounge which has a Pub, TV Lounge and meals are served here.
The garden is tropical - it rarely gets colder than 12 degrees in Zululand and is in excess of 4500 square metres. The Guest House is surrounded by huge trees an is truly an oasis after a day out. You will wake up to birdsong and traffic noise is non-existent.
The village we live in is gated and safe.
A trip to Zululand should ideally be over 3 days - Game Reserve, the World Heritage Site, Boat trip on the estuary, game drives, and exploring one of the only remaining onspoilt beaches in South Africa, Cape Vidal. Cutural Tours, Whale and Turtle Tours can be arranged.
All rooms are air-conditioned, have tea/coffee facilities, linen, towels, hair-driers and amenities are provided. The Guesthouse is 3-star graded.
We spend as much time as you like to suggest outings and attractions.
Dinner is availabe on request.
