About Southern Comfort Western Horse Ranch

Situated on the Garden Route halfway between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, we own a Horse Ranch run by the Glinister family.

We hostel offers small dorms, ensuite, self-catering, tree house and campsite accommodation. We also cater for parties, teambuilding and big groups of up to 80 people.

Facilities include a restaurant and tuck shop, undercover boma (B.B.Q), a games room with pool tables and table tennis tables.

Forest Horse rides with experienced guides and well trained horses leave twice daily and include an overnight stay at the Forest Indian Tepee Horse camp. We also have the only 4x4 playpit and obstacle course in the area (self-drive).

Enjoy a relaxed farm stay atmosphere, close to nature where each person's privacy is respected with personal attention and great hospitality.

The stars in the area are bright and our sunrises and sunsets are the best.
