Right in the heart of Paris, in the Latin district, just 3 minutes from the Pantheon at the end of rue de la Montagne Sainte Genevieve. It is very near the rue Mouffetard, the Sorbonne University, Notre Dame, etc... Nearby, uphill, is the Pantheon, an outstanding historic point of interest which construction on a neoclassical style started under Louis XV, going from 1757 to 1791 as an abbey church. During the Revolution it was decided by decree to convert it into a secular temple sheltering the remains of the great men of France (for instance, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Emile Zola, Marie and Pierre Curie). All around there are number of restaurants and cafes, diverse sorts of shops, and other quality conveniences such as Mouffetard open-air markets, supermarkets and fine bakeries.
