About Residencia La Ciutadella

La Ciutadella Youth Hostel was inaugurated in January 2001, as part of a deal with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

The hostel accommodates students of both genres and includes 270 rooms laid out as single rooms (192), single rooms with shared kitchen facilities (24), rooms for two (36) and double ambient rooms (9). There are also rooms available that have been designed for handicapped persons.

All of the rooms include a fitted kitchen, complete bathroom, heating, telephone and computer connection with Internet.

The bedrooms are equipped with a bed measuring 200x90 cm, armoire, writing desk, chairs, desk lamp, bookcase unit and mirror. The hostel provides the mattress with a case, blanket, pillow and bedspread.

The kitchen is fitted with electrical stove plates, smoke extractor and refrigerator. Kitchen utensils consist of plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans, calender, oil and vinegar bottles, coffee pot, cooking utensils, a water jug... in addition to cleaning appliances: garbage container, broom and shovel and a small frame for drying clothes.
