About al-Gawaher Hotel

Al-Gawaher Hotel (Al-Gawaher means 'the precious stones') is located in a central position, in the Clock Tower Area, behind the National Library Building. There are 2 bus stations in Aleppo, one for internal trips between Syrian Cities and another for international destinations. The Former is only a 5 minute walk away, the later about 15. Taking a taxi from the international bus station costs about 20 Syrian Pounds. From the hotel roof you can see the famous Castle of Aleppo. The Clock Tower is only a few meters away from you.

Our Hotel has 3 floors. The 2nd and 3rd floors are nicely decorated and the furniture consists of traditional Arabic couches with a water fountain in the middle. This relaxing and quiet atmosphere helps our travellers to enjoy sitting, reading and drinking their tea or coffee with other travellers and chat with each other.

All of our rooms are private. Each room contains a comfortable bed with clean blanket and towels. There's also a small cabinet and a wardrobe. Some of our rooms have their own bathroom (ensuite). A shared bathroom is also available. Hot water is available 24 hours a day. All rooms have air conditioning and heating. Our friendly staff will do everything in its power to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as it can be.

In our desire to satisfy the needs of our customer, we serve free tea and coffee at all hours, exchange money at good rates, arrange trips inside and outside Aleppo at your request. There is also a laundry service, a possibility to buy bottled water and free use of the kitchen.

Our service has no limits. And because we also take our customers' benefit to heart, we offer a year round 25% discount to all students, foreign or Syrian.
