Located in the traditional fishing village of Jambiani where you can still experience the real Zanzibar, the hotel is built on top of an ancient coral rock extending out into the Indian Ocean sandbar. The hotel is flanked by two beautiful beaches and a conservation area for colobus monkeys. The sandbar extends over 1km out into the indian ocean and creates a huge warm natural swimming pool free from strong currents or dangerous marine creatures. The area offers great snorkelling, diving the wall reef, fishing (barracuda and kingfish) and salt-water fly-fishing (with bone fish swimming right up to the hotel). Explore the ancient caves near the hotel, take a tour with the hotel tour guide and experience the many things that you can see and do in Zanzibar such as swimming with dolphins, visiting the old slave market, persian ruins and the spice plantations.
