About Baan Sammi Nature Resort

Located only 10 miles NE off city, stay in a rustic little house in a natural environment with swimming pond! We offer 2 lake-front bungalows, 3 lake-front pavilions, 1 chalet, and 1 lake-front lodge for rent. All are designed in a modern unpretentious 'Lanna' style, each with own character, spaced from each other and surrounded by flower trees to secure privacy and quiet.

Baan Sammi Nature Resort is situated on the margin of the village, Ban Pa Yang Poi, in a beautiful rural landscape. Huge rice-fields, numerous irrigation ditches, canals and some streams hemmed by natural vegetation, scattered small rural villages with wooden houses and farm gardens are characteristic features of this not much developed landscape.

For trips, a motorbike can be hired (150 Baht per day). A pick-up service can be offered, e.g. for transport to and from air�port, rail�way and bus station (400 Baht by car or song-thaeo, 200 Baht by motorbike). Trips by car and pickup with a driver can be arranged, e.g. individual one-day tour from 1,000 Baht.

Public transport is available from Baan Sammi to the city and back, but it is inconvenient, time-consuming and limited from early morning to about 8 p.m. In order to avoid a feeling of getting trapped in paradise, we strongly recommend having your own bicycle, motorbike or car, which can be rented through Baan Sammi or in the city.

High-speed internet (WLAN) is unlimited and free. It is accessible indoor and throughout the garden.

Breakfast (standard and special, Thai and Western) is available at extra charge. We do not run a restaurant, but can offer Thai meals if ordered one day in advance.

We also offer a delivery service, especially for food, ready food, drinks and other things that you wish to have available in your accommodation upon arrival. This service is free-of-charge provided we receive your order one or two days in advance.

The deep big pond can be used for swimming and boating, but is not recommended for non-swimmers. Fishing in this pond with a fishing-rod is possible, too, and you need your own fishing equipment. Access to the pond is allowed by pier only.

The natural garden has areas suitable for barbecue.
