Town's Inn Heritage House
About Town's Inn Heritage House
3-story 1840 stone house llocated a few steps from the confluence of the Potomac & Shenandoah Rivers, 19th century restored train station, Appalachian Trail, and C&O Canal Trail. In 1783, Thomas Jefferson wrote that the view of the rivers here was 'worthy of a voyage across the Atlantic.' John Denver's song 'Country Roads' was written about Harpers Ferry: 'almost heaven: West Virginia....' A 'matching' house next door (3 BR, 3.5 baths, sleeps 12) is also available.
Enjoy shopping, dining, bicycling, hiking, swimming, tubing, fishing, rafting, kayaking, golfing, farm & museum visits, and more in the historic town of Harpers Ferry & the adjacent Harpers Ferry National Park (www.nps.gov/hafe). Dine in the stone patio cafe that surrounds the house or the indoor restaurant on the first level, or prepare your own meals in the kitchen area. Family friendly.
