Our HI Metropolitan hostel boasts a prime location for enjoying this unique atmosphere. You'll find yourself right in the middle of 16 blocks of San Diego's finest restaurants, cafes, boutiques, galleries, bars, nightclubs, and movie theatres, with a handful of seasonal street festivals and other various attractions. You'll be minutes away from the airport, Greyhound and Amtrak stations, the San Diego Convention Center, and numerous forms of public transportation providing access to all of San Diego, including Balboa Park, Sea World, the World-Famous San Diego Zoo, and all of San Diego's finest beaches.

PLEASE NOTE- A few of our reservation policies:

Foreign travelers must show a valid foreign passport and United States citizens must show a valid state issued Identification Card or Driver's License with photo upon check in. San Diego County residents are not accepted. U.S. passports, Foreign Identification and Driver's License, Military Identification and Student Identification cards are not accepted.

If a reservation is not cancelled by the end of the day prior to your arrival, your credit card will be charged for the amount of the first night's stay and the remainder of your reservation will be canceled.

Please note we have a maximum stay of 14 out of 365 days. Any bookings made for longer than this cannot be accepted.

A $3 Non-Member Fee will be added per night for guests who are not Hostelling International members. Memberships are available at front desk upon check in.
