The Adelaide Hostel/Hotel has the best free Breakfast in San Francisco every morning from 7am to 11am , the Adelaide provides fresh baked croissants , Fresh baked English Muffins, Irish breakfast scones, a variety of bagels ,whole wheat bread for toast and all the fresh fruit preserves and Jams (Strawberry jam,Irish Marmalade and for our European guests Nutella chocolate spread, so for a mouth watering free breakfast the Adelaide in San Francisco is the place to stay.

Every Evening our Master chefs Damus and Jennifer make a great dinner and for $5-$7 you can enjoy a great evening meal in our dining room, check out this great food and of course his Roast Beef Yorkshire pudding and mashed potato dinner, be sure to let the front desk staff know you want dinner as Damus and Jen sell out early . Dinner is served at 8pm sign up at the front desk early.

We have full private rooms, four bed dorm and six bed dorm style rooms available.

All rooms are cleaned daily by our professional full time staff. Linens and sheets are provided.

We also have a 21 day maximum stay for all guests.

The Adelaide has an excellent downtown location, only one block to Union Square(The center of San Francisco in the Theatre district and in the middle of San Francisco's main shopping and theatre districts. We are close to all major tourist attractions like Alcatraz prison, Union Square, the famous San Francisco Cable Cars, ChinaTown, Fishermans Wharf, Castro Street and of course the famous Haight Ashbury district. All of these attractions are only a short walk or bus ride from the Adelaide Hostel. If you are coming to San Francisco for a conference we are only a one minute walk to the Hilton convention center and we are a five minute walk to the Moscone Convention Center. Our international staff will help you with directions when you arrive.

The Adelaide building is modeled after the European style pensionne hotels which are popular in many European cities,with a guest lobby where you can read or just relax and meet new friends. (see picture of our lobby with our Christmas tree in the pictures section of this web page).

The Adelaide has the best Hostel kitchen in San Francisco We have a full kitchen with two stoves ,Two large ovens,Three microwaves dishwasher and large fridges to store your food and all the dishs pots and pans and kitchen utensils you will ever need. There is also large dining room where you can enjoy your meals and chat with friends and make new friends.
