About Globetrotters Inn

Globetrotter's Inn is a small, clean, friendly hostel located in downtown San Francisco. The hostel is located two blocks from the Powell St. cable car, the Visitor Information Center, and Union Square. It is possible to walk to most of the tourist sites in the city from our location.

There are dormitory rooms available with 2-6 beds and there are also private rooms available with 1 or 2 beds. Free sheets, blankets and a pillow are supplied so there is no need to bring any bedding. Showers and toilets are located in the hallway.

Facilities include:
- A fully equipped kitchen (including stove with oven) and all the pots and pans you need to cook a good cheap meal (open 24 hours)
- A washing machine and dryer which are coin operated
- Free internet for guests
- Short/long term storage facilities
- Two guest telephones to receive and make calls
- Fax available to guests, to send and receive faxes
- Hot showers are available 24 hours and are free
- Cable TV
- Free city maps and city information
