Fish Creek House combines luxury accommodations, panoramic mountain views, wide open spaces and down home hospitality. Situated on 40 acres, our handcrafted country-style log home offers a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by Fish Creek running through the property. Whether you're visiting Montana for a hunt or fishing on one of the world class fly fishing rivers nearby, or if you simply prefer to relax in a hammock with a good book by the creek, Fish Creek House is a wonderful home to come back to... while you're away.

The newly remodeled inn was designed to reflect the rustic history that is Montana while offering amentiies that make our guests feel at home. Fish Creek House offers two themed guest rooms each with private baths. Each one of our guest rooms feature a different "Montana" theme in an "upscale rustic" decor - from the hand crafted log and pine furniture to the unique local art work that hangs on the walls.

After a hearty country breakfast including omelettes, home-made breads and jams, fresh fruit, croissants, fresh ground coffee, yogurt, Montana granola, and trout, you may enjoy a hike along Fish Creek through the woods. Virtually around the corner is the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest. There are literally thousands of miles of scenic trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobile riding, and cross-country skiing In the winter. Or celebrate the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial, retrace the steps of Lewis and Clark through Whitehall.

Guests may relax in the picturesque living room. This comfortable room offers a large rock fireplace, perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. The sitting room available for all guests complete with a TV/VCR/ & DVD player, microwave, and an always going coffee pot, This is the perfect place to gather, enjoy yourself and share in conversation with other guests. The inn offers free wireless internet access for guests.

Because we are horse lovers ourselves we welcome horses with their owners. Fish Creek House does not offer horses for riding, but we have accommodations for our equine friends.
