The Hanoi Joy Hotel is, a hidden gem in the backstreets of Hanoi 's historic Old Quarter. It's location in one of the quietest streets in the Quarter, combined with the helpful service of multilingual and helpful staff.

Bat Su (which was once home to chinaware merchants) is not exactly outer-space-style silence, but when you consider how busy other parts of old Hanoi are, the location is a big selling point. So too are the rooms, which for the money are quite huge. The three front rooms have balconies looking into or down onto the trees and rooms.
