About Casa Quinde

The friendliest place to stay in Quito. We offer private rooms in a family house with independent spaces for you. You can read some book while you recive the sun, to learn spanish or simplely you can enjoy the relaxed conversations with the family.
You can stay for as little as 3 days or as long as you want, with special discounts for longer stays. Students have lived with the family for as long as six months. We have a wonderful view over the city and the Panecillo from our terrace. If you would like to learn Spanish, the owner is an experienced Spanish teacher and offers lessons for only $7 per hour with interesting conversations about culture, grammar and usual expressions. We come with a great sense of humour. In this relaxed setting, you can join in Ecuadorian family life, or you can do your own things.
The house is located 20 - 25 minutes from the old city. As much as 35 minutes you can arrive to the new city with all things that you need: bars, discotheques, night clubs and so on. The taxi cousts around 4 - 5 dollars.
You will have three great and balanced Ecuadorian meals cooked for you every day. If you want you can prepare your own drinks like tee or coffe. You will have your room cleaned and your laundry done, all included in the price. We can advise you or even accompany you on excursions. This is not your average hostel, you will be able to experience Ecuadorian life directly. In fact we will probably be your friends for life.
