Now under new ownership, the hotel offers stylish, comfortable accommodation in 10 recently refurbished rooms in the centre of Edinburgh, close to all that this magnificent city has to offer. In the heart of the city, just a 5-minute walk from Princes Street and the Royal Mile, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Edinburgh’s many tourist attractions and the city’s main business districts. Fully refurbished, each of our 4 dormitories have new bunk beds with all bed linen provided. Two of our dormitores have ensuite facilities. Each of our Private hotel rooms now boasts an LCD TV with built-in Freeview, tea/coffee making facilities and a brand new modern en suite bathroom. With stylish contemporary decor and crisp white cotton sheets, the rooms are attractive, modern and comfortable. The hotel prides itself on providing a high standard of customer service and with a great location and comfortable well-equipped accommodation; the West End Hotel is a great choice, whether you are visiting Edinburgh on business or as a tourist.At the start of 2008, the hotel completed phase one of its complete refurbishment programme, which included all of the hotel’s 10 rooms, the bar area and the foyer. With the majority of that work now complete, phase 2 will see the back garden turned into a barbecue area with new decking, a self-catering kitchen installed downstairs and a lounge area featuring free internet access. Even though renovations are ongoing, all of the areas that guests have access to have now been completed, thus you will not be disturbed during your stay.
