About Green Surf Hostel

The Green Surf Hostal is on of the first guesthouse in Rio de Janeiro for surfers. Our location, close to best surfing spots in Rio, is perfect for surfing. The green surf hostel is a part of an environmentally preserved area with waterfalls and a lots of green areas.

Provided in the cost of your stay will be transport to and from the best beaches offering the best waves of the day!

You could order a new surfboard.
Fernanda Vigne is the owner of Greensurf Hostel. She's also the first female shaper in Brazil. Fernanda graduated in Physical Education and also studied Design for many years. Being a surfer herself, she utilizes he knowledge in and out of the water to shape awesome customized surfboards.

If you order your board 3 weeks before your arrival, you will ensure to have the appropriate surfboard waiting for you and will avoid all the airport hassle!

New Year Hostel Package:

-7 nights accommodation with breakfast (breakfast in typical Brasilian style: juices, fresh fruit, bread rolls, cheese, cake, etc)
-B-B-Q at the hostel to start off the New Years Eve celebrations.
-We then provide transport to and from Copacabana beach where New Years Eve festivities, fireworks and Brazilian music can be enjoyed throughout the evening and into the early hours of the next day!
-A guided trek to the beautiful Camorim Waterfalls, not typically known to the tourist
-Transport to and from the best beaches offering the best waves of the day. Provision can be made for surf lessons, just email us in advance!

Special `Rio Carnaval` Hostel Package:

-7 nights accommodation with breakfast (breakfast in typical Brasilian style: juices, fresh fruit, bread rolls, cheese, cake, etc)
-Transport to and from Rio´s Carnaval celebrations for one evening - the choice of evening (typically Friday or Saturday) is decided nearer the time and is dependent on the celebrations!
-A guided trek to the beautiful Camorim Waterfalls, not typically known to the tourist
-Transport to and from the best beaches offering the best waves of the day. Provision can be made for surf lessons, just email us in advance!

Whats not included:

-We are happy to help you purchase costumes for the carnaval, although the cost of costumes are exclusive of our package.
-We can also purchase the Carnaval tickets in advance of the event to avoid any disappointment. The cost of the tickets however are exclusive of our package. Email us in advance if you would like us to purchase carnaval tickets for you.
