About Terra Brasilis Hostel
Located in the most charming and atractive neighborhood in Rio, Terra Brasilis is just the right choice for art and bohemia lovers.
On vantage of its positioning a little bit above the region, Santa Teresa has incomparable views of the city.
The great atmosphere in middle of centenians mansions and art ateliers are welcoming everyday hundreds of visitors and locals by trail!
Our hostel is an ancient 19´th century´s house delighting two large balconies to provide us a stunning 180 degrees view of lapa, downtown and Guanabara bay in a great open area giving us a pleasure of the contact to the nature (everyday we have company of many birds and little monkeys).
Transportation access is easy, you can come and go by normal buses, subwaybuses service or rail of course!
The location is a privileged place in the area, in a calm and safe street, with a guard watch where it begins. Staying right in front of Parque das Ruinas (Ruins Park), a park and culture centre at the same time, it is easy to find live music, courses and workshops also of capoeira.
Lapa, is only 5 minutes from the hostel, the most famous spot for night life in town has an uncountable number of night clubs and cool bars receptioning all kind of person and satisfying their expectations. Everything new on Brazilian music has to be shown there first!
If your goal is to add culture and night life to your trip without missing the traditional seightseeings, Terra Brasilis is the perfect place to stay!
