The Britannia Bournemouth Hotel (formerly known as the New Ambassador Hotel) is ideally situated close to the East Cliff and the zig-zag path and lift to the beach below. The cosmopolitan atmosphere of the town centre with its shops, restaurants and bars are only a short walk away.

All of our 118 en-suite bedrooms were refurbished in 2006, with direct dial telephone, Colour TV, hairdryer and Complimentary Tea & Coffee making facilities. But why not spoil yourself and upgrade for only a few pounds extra and experience our Superior Bedrooms with furnishings and decor in rich warm colours to compliment the rich dark woods of the furniture, they are more spacious and can provide views over the town with glimpses of the sea in the distance.

Situated on the Ground floor our light and spacious Restaurant , provides an informal and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal. Where you can help yourself to a delicious array of dishes from our hot and cold buffet, featuring a roast of the day.

The Lounge and Bar is open all day and offers Light bites, Snacks, a Cream Tea or something more substantial up until 9pm. The Lounge and Bar are great places to meet with wireless Internet access - free for all guests of the hotel.
