The in 1995 converted "Waldhotel Schattin" , situated about 10 km from Luebeck, is at the border from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to Schleswig Holstein, in the middle in the 'nature protected area' of the Wakenitzniederungen before the gates of the Hanseatic city Luebeck.

The diverse landscapes and the old cities in the environs (Luebeck, Molln or Ratzeburg) as well as the beautiful avenues, invite to explore the area either by boat, car, motorcycle or on horsback.

Our hotel has double rooms and family rooms (up to 6 persons consisting of two areas). All rooms have a shower, a WC, a TV and a telephone. For backpackers we have rooms with shared bathroom.

Each morning we serve you a rich breakfast Buffet. You will enjoy a 'Urige Atmosphare' in our restaurant "Lenschower Deel".

We are also equipped for conferences and seminars. In addition our our festival room offers a suitable framework for many meetings or family celebrations.
