About Antique Guesthouse and Hostel

The special thing about of our Property is that although it is so near to the city center, it preserves the atmosphere of inner Buda, giving our guests an authentic feel.

With opening our Hostel, we accomplished a long term dream by creating a little jewel boksz, reflecting the bohemian feel of the 1920s, combining it with modern lifes necessities.

The building was erected in 1793 in classical style, and functioned as the first Post Coach station of Buda, nowdays it is an art relic. The outside has the original deep bourdon colour, while the inner court is covered in creeping ivy. The originality of our Property comes from its history and its invidual accesories.

When we started, our primary target was to recreate the atmosphere of our beautiful city, Budapest.Our aim was to form a one off enviroment to our visitors travelling the world, giving them a the feel of home, and plentiful good memories to reflect on long after their departure.

Budapests best sights are lying just minutes away from our property.

Our Property is situated at the foot of the famous Buda Castle region, 5 minute walk from Margit island, and just a minute away from underground station, the River Danube enbankement and other mayor bus and tram services.

You can also view our rich collection of antiques, with the option to bargain and buy. Whether on a business trip, or just pleasure, alone, with family or with friends the most important thing for us is to give you a snug home, while in Budapest.
