About Case Colomba

Our houses, which date from the end of the nineteenth century, are on old rustic-style, recently renovated, but still with all the original features. Only 2 km from Buseto Palizzolo. The baglio (a typically Sicilian building with a number of different dwellings e.g. the main house, stables, servants quarters, built round a courtyard) has a mother house and dependance renovated in 2003.

The Casale has other rooms and is a typical Sicilian building, with one kitchen, one seating room and five bedrooms with private bathroom. The distance to the baglio is 100 meters.

The mother house which is available to visitors has its own indipendent entrance for room, kitchen, sitting room and three bedrooms with private bathroom, which can sleep up to ten people.

The dependance have two bedrooms with indipendent entrance, two bedrooms and kitchen, which can sleep up to four people.

The houses have central heating for winter and air-conditioning for summer. Around the house is an Arab-style orchard, containing a rich variety of mature fruit trees. In front to the house the are two open spaces to have breakfast in the morning and barbecue in the evening.

There is also an internal car-park. Fresh farm produce can also be bought from neighbouring houses.

In the house you'll find a wide variety of information giving details of possible day trips.

The geographical location of Case Colomba makes it an ideal starting point for day trips to numerous places of interest in western Sicily.
