DC Lofty is located on 815 North East 7th Street in Washington DC, only 12-13 minutes walking distance from magnificent landmark - Union Station/Subway/ Red Line.
Union Station is a city within a city, with tons of shops, movie theaters, tour companies, car rentals, restaurants.

Just turn left on H Street, and explore vital and edgy Atlas district nightlife with three-block stretch bars district full of contrast. There's no other neighborhood where you'll find sword-swallowing bartenders, cozy neighborhood taverns, hand dancing lessons, live go-go and indie-rock bands a few doors down from sophisticated theater.

You can't come in before 9a.m. (and you have to let us know if you plan to come in before 10AM), if you are arriving after 10 p.m. you MUST contact us and notify your arrival time. Charge $20 for the arrivals after 10PM Latest Arrival by 11PM.

We do not have extra space for your excessive luggage, so please limit your bags.
No elevator in this building.

Policy -

Valid foreign passport or Photo ID required to Check-in.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Checkout time is 11:00 a.m.

Mature, quiet guests are preferred.

We do everything we can do to preserve a tranquil atmosphere in our hostel. If you would like to bring a child with you, please contact us. Children under 18 must be in rooms accompanied by a parent.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under six or seniors fifty five and over.

Smoking is NOT allowed in the room or in the common areas.
Evidence of smoking in the room or common areas will result in an additional charge of $250 will be billed to cover the additional cleaning for smoking in the room and loss of revenue. Any kind of open flames, including lit cigarettes or burning candles, are not allowed in the room.
No physical intimate behavior allowed;
No extensive drinking allowed.
No pets are allowed.

Cancellation and Payment Policy -

DC Lofty maintains a strict cancellation policy.
You must notify us at least 3 days prior to departure time (once you have checked in). Any days within 3 days will be subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellation of the day of Check-in will be charged the full nights stay. Please be courteous and inform us immediately of a cancellation or change in plans.

Upon arrival, full payment will be accepted in cash (USD) or credit cards VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER. We do not accept personal checks.
