About Da Rosetta

'Da Rosetta' is a tourist activity located in the most ancient street of San Gimignano, on the original way of "Via Francigena".

At the side of this road, in 1283, 'Donna Nobile" Hospital was built while in 1334, in a nearby building, Convent of "Santa Maria Maddalena" was located. Parallel to the main street of San Gimignano is "Via delle Romite" whose name comes from that ancient, until 1810 active convent.

Currently this completely restructured building, where a medieval Hospital was even placed, offers comfortable, peaceful rooms and flats for those people who want to enjoy the atmosphere of a medieval town with its ancient buildings, churches and lanes. This location will also give you the chance to join all the shows taking place in surrounding squares.

It will even give you the chance to visit the wonderful Tuscan countryside surrounding San Gimignano. Taking a short walk out of the town walls through the medieval gate 'Le Fonti' you can easily reach San Jacopo Templar Church or the Cloister in 'Sant'Agostino' XIII° Century's Convent.

House 'Da Rosetta' has independent apartments and rooms that lean out on a great park with pines and cypresses. They are all carefully equipped with ancient furniture, independent heating, bathroom and TV, you will also be provided with a common living room and a cooking space for your greater convenience as preparing breakfast or meals. A small breakfast is included in the price (tea, coffee and a croissant).
