About Hotel Ekes Konvents
If you would like to enjoy Riga's history, you will receice the warmest welcomes at historic hotel Ekes Konvents, which occupies three stories of the house where Riga's first property for visitors to the city opened in 1435. The homely and romantic Ekes Konvents hotel with its 11 elegantly designed rooms is named after Burgermeister of Riga, Nikolaus Eke.
The furniture is modeled on examples of historical furniture and the rooms are adorned by ancient maps, original drawings, engravings and hand woven blankets. Ekes Konvents retains its impressive vaults, ancient facade and the authentic roughness of its walls.
