Opened on Feb '08 we are the only Vacation Home situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur /Bukit Bintang City Centre. This is a double storey pre-war house built in the 1920's during colonial times.

It is one of the few properties still standing in a neighbourhood where time has stood still in the midst of rapid mondernisation common to all cities around the world. The interior has recently been renovated to provide a comfortable, airy and cosy atmosphere for our guests while retainning the facade as a heritage feature.

The word 'Sarang' means nest in the Malay language and 'Galloway' comes from the road on which this home is situated. The road is named after a British jailor serving in the then Federated Malay States at the near by historical Pudu prison.

Due to our ideal location we can truly say this is a perfect place to stay in whereby it is within walking distance to all major attractions like the Bukit Bintang shopping belt ( 3 mins), Jln Alor famous hawker street food (3 mins), Puduraya bus terminal (7 mins), Chinatown (10 mins), Hang Tuah monorail and LRT stations (4 mins). The buses and taxis stop 2 mins away. There is even a 24 hour hawker stall just at the end of the Galloway road (2 mins)

While it may sound like it is a busy area our neighbourhood is very quiet as our house is situated on a small road just off the main thorough fare. Furthermore it is also very safe as the police headquarter is just 2 mins walk away.

Although there are a number of houses in the Bukit Bintang area that have been converted to guest houses for individual travellers we have decided to offer our home as a complete unit for those travelling in groups of up to 12 or those who are with young children or aged parents and therefore would like to have the whole house to themselves. So after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping you can come back home to your own place to unwind, relax and recharge with your families and friends.

Sarang Galloway has 4 bedrooms, 1 downstairs for those who don't wish to climb the stairs and 3 rooms upstairs. All the bedrooms upstairs are with windows. While the room downstairs has a king size bed all those upstairs have twin super single beds fitted with comfortable matresses, pillows, fresh linens and quilts to ensure that you have a good night's sleep as if you are in your own bed back home. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. The bathrooms are with hot showers. and bath gel. We even have a sun area where you can sun bathe in private. The kitchen is well equipped with 2 gas stoves, wok, pots, pans, refrigerator and a microwave oven.

Sarang Galloway is children friendly. A baby cot is provided free upon request. Baby sitting is available at a minimal charge. Our TV has multi channel satellite programmes and a large collection of DVDs and VCDs movies and cartoons are available for your viewing pleasure. There is also a selection of books for your reading pleasure and also a large number of maps and guide books for attractions in KL and Malaysia.

Sarang Galloway is owned and managed by us, Christina and Michael who ourselves are seasoned travellers. We are most happy to help make your stay with us in Malaysia a memorable and enjoyable one. As such we will gladly provide you with any advice and help that you may need for your travel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and certain South East Asia countries. In fact only for our guests, we offer personalised tours to certain attractions and places of interest which we feel should be visited, at very discounted rates. The cheapest price you can ever find.

We ourselves live on the road right behind as such we are always available to provide any maintinence that requires immediate attention. We also make it a point to provide daily housekeeping.

As we have just opened our doors for business we are willing to provide the whole unit of Sarang Galloway with a minimum of 2 rooms booking. The maximum capacity is 12 guests. The beds sleep 8 in total. The 4 extra guests will be charged RM30 each. This includes a mattress, pillow, quilt, bed linen, towel and breakfast.

RM260 for 2 bedrooms per night minimum (4 guests)
RM390 for 3 bedrooms per night ( 6 guests )
RM520 for 4 bedrooms per night ( 8 guests )

Additional guests will be charged RM30 each up to a maximum of 4
