MADRAS HOTEL EMINENCE, the sister branch of MADRAS HOTEL is ideally located in the central part of the city. Situated prominently along the beginning part of Jalan Besar, it is within walking distance to the Lavender train station and the Boon Keng train station. Approximate time to Changi Airport is about 25 minutes and to the shopping belt of Orchard Road takes you about 20 minutes. It is also just outside the fringe of the Central Business District.

Right opposite the Hotel, you will find the Lavender Food Square which has stalls serving varieties of local fares which will tickles your taste buds. Guests who need to travel up to Malaysia will find it rather convenient as it is within walking distance to the Lavender Street Coach Terminal and the Golden Mile Complex building where all the coach companies are located.

For a midnight shopping experience, take a cool night walk to the nearby 24 hours Mustafa Shopping Centre where find you can find all sort of merchandise on the shelves. For electronics and IT products, you can visit the Sim Lim Tower and the Sim Lim Square which is 3 bus stops away from the Hotel. Public facilities such as the Jalan Besar Stadium which has an Oylampic size swimming pool and a running tracks are located nearby the Hotel.

MADRAS HOTEL EMINENCE, started operation in response to the heavy demand of hotel rooms in recent months cater to the business and leisure travelers alike from all over the world. We offer a range of single, double, twin, triple and family rooms with rates that suit the budget of all cost conscious guests.
Breakfast is provided on complimentary basis and hence we can only afford to provide simple fare like toasts with coffee or tea and occasionally some fruits. Obviously, we can provide an international buffet spread like those big hotels but then it will make our room rates above the budget range.

Our rooms are fully carpeted with attached hot /cold shower and individual room controlled air-conditioning system. Color television and DVD player is provided in every room for the entertainment of the guests. Local calls and Zone 1511 budget IDD calls can be made directly from the room telephone system. Wi fi internet access is available throughout the hotel for guests with their own laptops, otherwise a complimentary 15 mins of high speed internet usage is available daily for all guests at our internet corner on the lobby floor.
Other essential services such as photocopying, local and oversea fax facilities, self service coin operated launderette, hot /cold drinking water are available at the lobby floor. Additional electrical appliances like the mini bar fridge can be arrange in the room at minimal cost but iron and hairdryer are available free upon request.

Our check in time is 1300 hrs and check out time is 1200 hrs. Early check in on request and availability of rooms will be allowed with a surcharge of S$ 30.00 nett during the period of 0600hrs to 1000 hrs. Late check out on request and availability of rooms will be allowed based on a half day charge
