In the heart of the East Village, the Village Inn gives backpackers the opportunity to experience the hippest part of Manhattan. Home of the world famous St. Mark's Place and Astor Place, the East Village is made up of many restaurants and bars, such as Yaffa Caffe and McSorley's Old Ale House (literately next door to us!). The East Village still boils with the vibe created by the hippies, musicians and artists who first arrived here in the 1960s. In the streets, a mixed crowd walks alongside with students from the New York University, which has many of its college housing located here.

The Village Inn is a totally renovated 5 story walk-up building that can comfortably accommodate travelers looking for the fun and history of the neighborhood. The dormitory rooms can sleep 8 to 12 people, and they all have private facilities. Private rooms are also available for those who demand a little more privacy. Next to our fully equipped kitchen, a flat screen TV entertains our guests in a large common area. Here, guests wake up to our well known "two thumbs up" free continental breakfast, an assortment of bagels, muffins, fruits, cereal, coffee, milk and orange juice. In our lounge, you can watch TV while you check your emails, lock up your luggage, wash your clothes, or just chill with other fellow travelers.

Maximum stay: 14 nights
3 night minimum reservation on all major holidays.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY:
Please note that any cancellation or change must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours before arrival date. In case of NO-SHOW, the total of the first night of each guest will be charged onto your credit card regardless the reason. We are not responsible for weather conditions, illness, flight delays or flight cancellations. The 10% deposit you pay on this website is per night accommodation. If you cancel any night stays, then the deposit for that night will be lost.
